Donations

ISACT now undertakes various services and projects throughout the ACT muslim community. ISACT is also focused on the future needs of the muslim community and has plans to build and grow its infrastructure to cater for these needs.

With all these services and activities, the ISACT relies on the muslim community to donate its time and effort. If however, people cannot donate their time and effort, for reasons beyond their control, ISACT is happy to accept their support through financial contributions.

ISACT & Zamzam Relief

ISACT is alhamdulillah pleased to announce its partnership with Zamzam Relief (previously known as Zamzam Africa Foundation Australia) for several upcoming charity campaigns including Ramadan campaigns. Your donations are an amaanah which is why finding a trustworthy medium is paramount.

Zamzam Relief (not to be confused with Zamzam Appeal) has been chosen based on the following criteria:

  • Full transparency of where and how the collected funds are spent, along with detailed evidence
  • Minimal administrative overheads (90% of the collected funds reach the people in need; 100% for Africa cataract eye surgery campaign)
  • Sincere brothers who genuinely fear Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala in handling of this amaanah
  • No political affiliations
  • Money is not handed over to governments, political parties or organisations but rather disseminated through their own reliable and established arrangements on the ground
  • Donations are distributed in 7 countries where Zamzam Relief have existing logistics
  • DGR registered – which means your donations above $2 are tax deductible

We always recommend you find reliable and upright Muslim brothers and sisters within the community who fear Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala to personally send money through their private arrangements. This ensures your money reaches the most needy, in time and in its entirety. When choosing a registered charity, please do your own due diligence before donating.
