At the conclusion of the AGM last Sunday, 21 September 2025, the Election Commissioner’s letter (which was posted to Canberra Mosque noticeboard a week earlier) was read out to those present. In that letter the Election Commission declared that nominations did not exceed the available positions and therefore the election does not need to be contested. As a result, the nominees have been deemed elected to those positions in the Executive Committee.
