Daily Prayers

The five daily prayers are held in the Masjid.

وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَارْكَعُوا مَعَ الرَّاكِعِينَ
And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience] – Qur’an 2:43

The congregational salat (Iqamah) is conducted at a fixed offset from the beginning of the salat times as distributed by the Masjid Committee at the beginning of each month:

MAGHRIB – 5 minutes after sunset
‘ISHAA’ – 9.00pm (7.45pm for rest of Ramadan after daylight saving ends)
FAJR – approx. 30 mins after published time
DHUHR – 1.35pm (12.3pm after daylight saving ends)
‘ASR -10 mins after published time
JUMU’AH – 1.20pm sharp (1.00pm after daylight saving ends)
