The Imams Council of ACT (Imam Mohammed Swaiti, Imam Nourredine Laraibi and Imam Adama Konda) have met after Maghrib today at the Canberra Masjid and have declared that Eid-ul-Fitr 1435 AH will be Monday, 28 July 2014. Salat-ul-Eid will be at 7:30am for an 8:00am start. Eid Mubarak. Shaykh Nasser Saad Alhammad from Saudi Arabia is leading ‘Isha’/Taraweeh (7.15pm) and Fajr salaah during the remainder of Ramadan at the Canberra Masjid. He is also holding Qur’aan classes every morning after fajr. The masjid is open overnight over the last 10 days of Ramadan for those wishing to observe i’tikaaf. Eid-ul-Fitr Salaat 2014 This year there will be an option to offer Eid-ul-Fitr Salaat the Canberra Mosque. Eid-ul-Fitr Salaat will be either on Monday, 28 July 2014, or Tuesday 29 July 2014, date to be confirmed on Sunday, 27 July 2014 after Maghrib. Salaat time is 7:30am for an 8:00am start.
