The Imams Council of ACT has met after Maghrib today at the Canberra Masjid and have declared that fasting for Ramadan 1443 AH will start on Saturday, 2 April 2022, Inshallah. Therefore, Taraweeh prayers will start TONIGHT, straight after ‘Isha’.
Note: since daylight savings time will finish this Sunday, Inshallah, Isha salat will be held at 8:45pm and will change to 7:45pm from Sunday onwards.
