Biography of Br Muhummad Al-Bizry2011 Muhummad Al-Bizry was selected to travel to Egypt as part of the Build the Believers program to further his studies of the Arabic language and its sciences including Morphology, Grammar, Elloquence and Calligraphy. His studies also encompassed other Islamic Sciences including Aqeedah, Fiqh, Hadeeth , Quraan along with Tasfeer and Tajweed. Br Muhummad Al-Bizry is a very active and experienced Daee in Sydney. In addition to being a qualified teacher at a private Islamic College in Sydney, he is also a regular khateeb at various Islamic Centres and colleges in Sydney. Eid-ul-Adha Salaat 2014 (1435 AH)Eid-ul-Adha Salaat at the Canberra Mosque will be held on Saturday, 4 October 2014. Salaat time is 7:30am for an 8:00am start. On behalf of the Imams Council of ACT, Imam Adama Konda has announced that since the Day of Arafah will fall on Friday 3 October 2014, Eid-ul-Adha will Inshallah be on Saturday, 4 October 2014. Salat-ul-Eid at the Canberra Mosque will be at 7:30am for an 8:00am start. Eid Mubarak. From the week of 22 September 2014, Quran classes will be held at teh Masjid every Modnay and Thursday nights after Isha (during dalylight savings classes will be held between maghrib and Isha). Clasess are for males only and caters for both adults and children. On Friday, 5 September 2014 (after Isha), the Imam will deliver a presentation on “How to Perform Hajj” at the Canberra Mosque. Whether or not you are going to Hajj this year, or what ever Hajj group you may be travelling with, or if you just want to know a little more about Hajj, ALL are welcome. The Imam will describe the various rites and rituals that need to be performed for Hajj but will also cover the pratical aspects of performing Hajj by giving an insight of what to expect when millions of Muslims travel at the same time to make the pilgrimage. Arrangements will be in place for both Brothers and Sisters. Organised by the Islamic Society of Australian Capital Territory (ISACT). The Imams Council of ACT (Imam Mohammed Swaiti, Imam Nourredine Laraibi and Imam Adama Konda) have met after Maghrib today at the Canberra Masjid and have declared that Eid-ul-Fitr 1435 AH will be Monday, 28 July 2014. Salat-ul-Eid will be at 7:30am for an 8:00am start. Eid Mubarak. Shaykh Nasser Saad Alhammad from Saudi Arabia is leading ‘Isha’/Taraweeh (7.15pm) and Fajr salaah during the remainder of Ramadan at the Canberra Masjid. He is also holding Qur’aan classes every morning after fajr. The masjid is open overnight over the last 10 days of Ramadan for those wishing to observe i’tikaaf. |
